From Issa Rae’s record label, Raedio–an imprint of Atlantic Records–creating the soundtrack “Heaven-Sent” for Jason Rembert’s Aliétte runway show, to Ayesha Curry solidifying her spot as a budding fashionista while sitting front row at Romeo Hunte, Ulla Johnson and AREA, the F/W 2020 NYFW shows did not disappoint. Dreary weather aside, Christopher Johnson Rogers‘ colorful collection and Fe Noel’s lineup of Grenada-inspired looks were all the inspo we needed. In a runway season that refreshingly boasted over 10 Black designers, here are some of the biggest trends we saw during the New York Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2020 shows

1. Shine Bright

2. Modern Suiting

3. The New Neutral

5. So Groovy

6. Dark Romance

7. Chocolate Goddess

8. Dominatrix Queen

9. Bold Pinks
