Yesterday was the final day of a busy New York Fashion Week. The SS24 season was jam-packed with exciting moments from Peter Do’s Helmut Lang debut to Luar’s ode to neutrals. And, on the beauty front, makeup artist, Romero Jennings stole the show with gorgeous blush looks at both Prabal Gurung and Kim Shui. Meanwhile, unexpected– and equal parts intriguing– beauty looks could be found at Collina Strada, who went for whimsical grunge, and Dion Lee, who opted for AI-inspired beauty.
And speaking of the unforeseen, this NYFW included some extreme weather. But even amid the heatwave and rain that had NYC in a chokehold, fashion show goers didn’t miss a beat when it came to their makeup and hair looks. Karrueche, for one, had baby doll finger waves with 90s-thin brows. On another note, Gabrielle Union was found with a slicked back bun and minimal makeup.
