It’s a new year, and with that comes new beginnings — literally. A number of well-known women have been sharing the news, left and right, that they’re expecting. Some people are set to have their first child, like Keke Palmer, and others are adding to their brood, like Naturi Naughton.

The latest mama is Sydel Curry-Lee. The podcaster, entrepreneur, sister to Stephen Curry and wife of NBA player Damion Lee announced that she is expecting her second child. She, alongside Damion and their firstborn, son Daxon, shared a sweet video letting the world know that in August 2023, they’d be a family of four. She shared the video with the caption, “For this child we have prayed!”

Sydel and husband Damion Lee, along with their son Daxon, announced in the sweetest way that they’re expecting their second child. The news was made all the more sweet knowing her journey to have kids was not the easiest. She dealt with infertility and a miscarriage before trying IVF and having success. Now baby number two is on the way!

Model and body positive advocate Tabria Majors is joining the mommy tribe. She shared video on her Instagram in March of her announcing to her partner that she’s expecting.

The Emmy-award winning journalist announced the arrival of her twins in late February. “Welcome to the world Harlow and Hudson,” she wrote with a photo of her holding her babies in their gender coordinated clothing, beaming. “You are loved beyond measure.”

She broke the news that she is expecting her second child while performing front and center at the Halftime Show during the Big Game, leaving everyone talking — and wondering if they’d really seen what they thought they were seeing. The “What You Like” rapper and wife Jesseca Dupart are expecting their first child together, breaking the news as they approach their first wedding anniversary. In February, the actress and singer announced that she and husband Xavier “Two” Lewis are expecting their first child together. She is already mom to daughter, Zuri, from a previous relationship.

“I am looking forward to seeing this baby’s cute little face and how it will be the perfect blend between my husband and me,” she told PEOPLE. “My daughter is especially happy to be getting a younger sibling, so I’m excited to share this joy as a family.”
