Although the Pantone Institute did not expect green to be a big hit for 2018, celebrities like Beyoncé, Lakeith Stanfield, Tessa Thompson and Shiggy were all seen wearing this earthy hue. Ultraviolet was the color that Pantone predicted would be seen everywhere this past year, but stars opted for a mood that represented nature, money, sustainability and renewal. From red carpets to television appearances to tour stages, some of our faves shone bright in emerald, lime, mint and olive tones. Regina King won her landmark Emmy Award wearing a strapless neon-green gown, Amber Rose wowed at the BET Awards in a fitted velvet green dress, and Tessa Thompson fully embraced the color by wearing several variations of green for her recent Creed II premiere events.
