Tamar Braxton is turning over a new leaf in 2018.
After a bumpy holiday season with her estranged soon-to-be ex-husband Vincent Herbert, the singer has vowed to make peace with him for the sake of their son.
On Tuesday night, the youngest of the Braxton sisters shared a note on Instagram stating that she and Herbert, her former manager who she filed for divorce from in October just one month shy of their 9th anniversary, are not reconciling but are trying to do right by their 4-year-old Logan Herbert.
“NOPE! Sorry! Not together but since the craziness the other day, we DID agree to create a better environment for my son!!! Angry or not…it’s about my SON!!,” she posted with the caption that added, “P.s. we ALSO agreed not to speak on this anymore in public after this! My son can read and he’s NOT dumb #2018goals #praymystrengthinthelord.”
Braxton, 40, had Herbert arrested on Christmas Day for allegedly violating an order of protextion, and then accused him of getting another woman pregnant. Just days later, Braxton and Herbert were spotted together at the airport in Los Angeles with their son.
After posting the note clarifiying their current relationship status, the Grammy-nominated reality star deleted her Instagram account.
