It was only a matter of time before Donald Trump responded to LaVar Ball’s confusing CNN interview.

The former reality star woke up bright and early Wednesday to fire off tweets aimed that NBA dad and media personality, calling Ball a “poor man’s version of Don King.”

It wasn’t the White House, it wasn’t the State Department, it wasn’t father LaVar’s so-called people on the ground in China that got his son out of a long term prison sentence - IT WAS ME. Too bad! LaVar is just a poor man’s version of Don King, but without the hair. Just think..

...LaVar, you could have spent the next 5 to 10 years during Thanksgiving with your son in China, but no NBA contract to support you. But remember LaVar, shoplifting is NOT a little thing. It’s a really big deal, especially in China. Ungrateful fool!

Ball and Trump have been going back and forth ever since the reality star demanded that LiAngelo Ball and two other UCLA basketball players thank him for getting them out of trouble in China. LiAngelo and his teammates were detained on suspicion of shoplifting.

Trump also took time out of his busy morning to fire off another tweet about the NFL and to confirm that he’ll be “having meetings and working the phones from the Winter White House in Florida (Mar-a-Lago).”

In other words, expect to see new photos of Trump golfing this holiday season.
