The best type of fashion designer is one that wears her own creations, and that’s exactly what Jody Davis does. After graduating from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and interning with top designers, the Baltimore native honed her own design aesthetic and began her own business, Jody Davis Designs. Her clients, which include Patti LaBelle, love feminine clothes with a bit of stretch, ruching, and unexpected details – all of which she excels in creating.
Davis will be showing her new collection August 21 at Baltimore’s Inner Harbor during Baltimore Fashion Week, which runs August 18-21. Not in the area?
