Brian Nichols, the 37-year-old Atlanta man, was sentenced to multiple life sentences, for killing four people in a courthouse rampage in 2005. Nichols was found guilty last month for dozens of other related crimes as well as murder. This weekend, a jury deadlocked over whether Nichols should get a death sentence. He was eventually sentenced to 485 years in prison, plus another four sentences of life without parole, and another seven life sentences with parole possible after three decades.
