Music’s biggest night is officially here! Tonight the creme de la creme of the music industry gathered at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles for The 65th annual Grammy Awards. And while all eyes are on Beyoncé sweeping the categories and Viola Davis receiving EGOT status, the red carpet is our specialty. From Lizzo in a floral cocoon cape and Miguel in a Diesel s/s 23′candaian tuxedo (see, we told you it was back) to Coco Jones looking like a golden statue in Zuhair Murad — there was a myriad of aesthetic directions and styles.
One of the early fashion highlights of the night is none other than fashion it girl Doja Cat herself. Fresh off a dynamic couture week tour, she channeled a dark, vampy goth vibe in a black latex mermaid gown designed by frequent collaborator Versace. Lots of black pops of pastels here and there, Margiela Tabi’s, coordinated family fits, monochrome, etc. — there’s quite a lot going on so far.
