Celebrity Moms Who Embraced The Bare Bump Trend

Would you let your growing belly hang out? These stars have certainly embraced and revolutionized the trend.
Celebrity Moms Who Embraced The Bare Bump Trend

Would you rock the bare bump trend?

Being pregnant, when not nauseous, tired and near the end, a bit uncomfortable in your own skin, is a beautiful time. Some people choose to mark the moment by getting a belly casting or showing off their bump in an elaborate maternity shoot. And then some bold mamas honor their bodies and the babies growing in them by letting their bare bumps fly.

More and more women are getting into it, especially celebrity women. Someone who did it in grand fashion was Rihanna, who when pregnant with her first child in 2022, revolutionized the way we dress when pregnant by wearing designer threads with her stomach out instead of opting for traditional maternity wear. Sis gave us short skirts, stilettos and chic tops that let her play second fiddle to her belly in the spotlight. She’s now expecting her second child, so we can likely expect more innovative attire from the Bajan bad girl.

But she’s not the first, and she definitely won’t be the last to hit the red carpet, and even get on national TV, to showcase a growing bare belly. See a few women who proudly rocked pregnancy with the help of a go-to piece of clothing: a crop top.

01
Slick Woods

Ahead of her time, back in 2018, the gorgeous model hit the red carpet with a blazer and a bump.

Jodie Turner-Smith

The actress is always stunning, but she kicked things up a notch during pregnancy. Glowing, she showed off her bump back in 2020 while appearing on the Graham Norton Show to promote Queen & Slim.

Keke Palmer

The multitalented star showed that she could handle herself just fine while hosting an episode of Saturday Night Live all while carrying her first child. She used her hosting gig in December 2022 as an opportunity to announce the good news to the world.

Rihanna

She may not have done it first, but many think Rihanna did it best. She didn’t let up on the people, showing off fierce fashions and an adorable bump, including all over the world for Fashion Week festivities.

Kamille

English Grammy award-winning singer and songwriter Kamille showed up to the recent Brit Awards in February in a glamorous green gown that covered up just about everything but her face and her bump.

Angela Lewis

Snowfall star Angela Lewis celebrated the final season of the show at the premiere in February. She also had something else to celebrate — the fact that she’s expecting her second child, who made a special appearance on the carpet with her.

Hannah Bronfman

The influencer and entrepreneur let her bump shine (almost as much as her threads and her smile) while at the Fifteen Percent Pledge Gala in February.
