Being environmentally friendly is less challenging today than it was a few decades ago. With an influx of 100 percent recyclable food containers, tougher waste-management systems and bio-infused clothing items, it’s now easier than ever to go green. Yet, for those who may still be slow to the movement, there is a fun way to trick yourself into the habit—outside of recycling at home daily. One option is to dress the part, which means incorporating a field of green-colored accoutrements into your wardrobe. From rich emeralds to lush olive tones, green is front and center this season.

Designers from Ashish to Blumarine to Dsquared2—even Meghan Markle’s wedding dress designer Clare Waight Keller of Givenchy—showed versions of the earthy color on their spring/summer 2019 runways.
