Tyler Perry is finally sharing details about his son, Aman.
In a sit-down with the ladies of ‘The Real’, Perry talks about what it feels like to be a first time dad.
“All the clichés are real. He really has changed my life,” Perry said.

“He’s so beautiful and strong and amazing. And he’s a healer for me ’cause I look at him and see myself as a little boy. And I’m able to give him all the love and all the things that I never had.”
In true Tyler Perry fashion, Oprah and Cicely Tyson were named godmothers of his one-year-old son.

And just what piece of advice did the godmother’s have for this new dad?
“ I think the best advice she’s given me is about just living in the moment. Just be present in what is going on in your life,” Perry said of Oprah.
“You spend your time wondering and complaining about this and why this isn’t right and that isn’t right, you’re just wasting your time. Just celebrate where you are.”
