Congratulations are in order for Tyler Perry.
PEOPLE confirms that Perry and his long-time girlfriend Gelila Bekele welcomed a son, Aman Tyler Perry, on Sunday.
“Mom and baby are happy and healthy. Tyler is so excited,” a source told PEOPLE.
Perry and Bekele reportedly sent out a birth announcement to family and friends asking them to donate to Charity Water in lieu of gifts.
The 45-year-old media mogul told Extra that becoming a father is “the greatest gift I’m being given right now” and that it’s his opportunity “to give the little boy in me everything I never had.”
“He will make a wonderful father,” another source told PEOPLE. “You will never find a more loving, patient, honorable or decent man than Tyler Perry. Any child would be blessed to have him as a father.”
