Beyoncé has an unspoken message for the haters. At a post-Grammy party, she and Mama Tina Knowles flipped the middle finger to the camera…a deviation from their usual family friendly poses.
On Sunday (Feb. 12), Queen Bey won two of the nine Grammy Awards she was nominated for, going home with Best Urban Contemporary Album and Best Music Video. She lost Best Song, Record and Album of the Year to Adele, who dedicated Album of the Year to the pregnant mother. In the aftermath of the show, there has been outrage about Bey’s losses and unsolicited feedback from other artists.
So we can’t help but think these middle fingers are specifically pointed to those who think Beyoncé is undeserving of the accolades.
At the same party, Destiny’s Child had a moment. Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams took a fabulous and color-coordinated photo, reminding us they still look great together.
