Will.i.am Launches Mortgage Relief Fund
Mega-producer and rapper Will.i.am is the latest celeb to go above and beyond by giving back to those less fortunate. The Black Eyed Peas frontman recently launched a mortgage relief fund called i.am.home, offering financial assistance to homeowners.
In an interview with UK newspaper The Sun, Will.i.am (real name William James Adams, Jr.) said, "I rescue families who are losing their homes because they have no jobs and they can't pay the mortgage and the banks are foreclosing on their homes." He added that none of the families had to pay him back.
Here's what you had to say:
Kimya commented via Facebook:"I think it's great that celebrities give back to the community."
Ariane wrote via Facebook: "Go Will.i.Am. If the government won't help, it's nice to see that celebrities will use their status to step in when needed."
