Tyler Perry, Martin Lawrence, and Jamie Foxx are known for bringing classic comedy to the screen, but now they’ve got some unfunny business to attend to, after an Oklahoma prisoner filed suit claiming they stole his idea for their new film.

Perry’s film, entitled “Skank Robbers,” tells the story of Sheneneh from the ’90s sitcom “Martin,” and Wanda from the “The Jamie Foxx Show.” Foxx and Lawrence, who portrayed the two rambunctious cross dressers, will attempt to rob a bank. Perry will also star as Madea.

Inmate Shamont Lyle Sapp filed a lawsuit claiming that Foxx and Perry stole the idea. According to Eurweb, “Shamont had the idea to unite the three characters in one film, but his version wasn’t a comedy about bank robbers. It was a drama about a mental hospital.” But Sapp claims that the three bigwigs, Foxx, Perry and Lawrence, took his idea.

It’s an unlikely payday for Sapp, who is also suing FOX Broadcasting and producer David Zuckerman for a total of $4 million in damages.
