TIDAL is still the only place where you can stream Beyoncé’s Lemonade and, according to data obtained by The New York Times, the album has given the streaming service a big boost.
Back in March, the subscription service stated that it had three million users, but a week after Lemonade dropped, the service gained 1.2 million users from free trials and paid subscriptions.
The HBO video for the album has been streamed 11 million times via TIDAL and songs from the album have been streamed 306 million times globally. According to Nielsen Music, the album also set a record for weekly streams in the US with 115 million. That record was later doubled by Drake.
Looks like life post-Lemonade has been going pretty well for TIDAL.
