Tia Mowry-Hardrict Opens Up About Having Endometriosis

Tia Mowry-Hardrict opens up to People to talk about her struggles with endometriosis and the challenges of getting pregnant.

In an interview with People at the 2016 BET Awards, Tia-Mowry-Hardrict explains the challenges of expanding her family. She and her husband, Cory Hardrict are parents to 5-year-old son, Cree Taylor.

“I do suffer from endometriosis,” Mowry-Hardrict discloses, “so there’s a little bit of a challenge there, but I will say this; I am working on my diet.”

To combat her condition, she plans to follow “a diet I do when I want to just clean myself out and get rid of inflammation in my body,” explaining that endometriosis is exasperated by inflammation, and attributing her upcoming cookbook A Whole New You as a guide to achieving just that.
