“Girlfriends” spin-off “The Game” may get extended to a drama that runs an hour, according to HollywoodReporter.com. The show’s creator, Mara Brock Akil, is slated to present to CW executives this week the idea of extending the show to an hour drama, instead of its current format as a 30-minute comedy. Critics shared the show’s future was bleak after CW closed its comedy division, which also featured “Everybody Hates Chris.” —CJ
