Tamron Hall surprised us all last week when she abruptly left NBC and MSNBC by not renewing her contract.

The beloved news anchor was said to be leaving a multi-million deal on the table to pursue other interests, but those interests were not made clear. To add fuel to the fire, the incoming of former Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly made the leave seem all the more pointed.

But now the rumor mill is swirling and some say Hall is being courted for Live with Kelly.

As reported by Page Six, a spy spotted the former Today host discussing her career over lunch with Discovery’s Henry Schleiff. “He was encouraging her to join Kelly,” a spy told us. “He said, ‘Throw your hat in the ring! Lighten things up.’”

Kelly Ripa has been without a co-host since April 2016, when Michael Strahan left the show to join the Good Morning America news team. Since then, she’s been a single host with a rotating number of guests at her side.
