Today’s topic: Act Like A Lady Dear Steve, I read Steve’s book, “Act Like A Lady,” and afterwards I felt emotionally tired. It talks about women doing everything right and I’m just wondering when we will address men and what they should be doing right? Or have you just given up on men being able to take responsibility unless some woman is around to guide them? I was married for 12 years and I felt like I gave so much more than I was getting. I had all the responsibility. My mood, demeanor, psychological skills, planning, interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills, nurturing, keeping finances straight, cooking, child-rearing, listening, encouraging, working a job, cleaning the house, disciplining, helping with homework, PTA, giving my body for sex, all seemed like I was being used up. I constantly asked my husband what I was supposed to be getting in return for all of this and his only answer was he paid all the bills. I worked too and made more money than him for most of the marriage. Steve, can you PLEASE, PLEASE, tell me what a woman gets out of being married? I want your list to be as long as mine.
