I have a 32-year-old cousin who I just don’t know what to do with anymore. To begin, she has six children and doesn’t have custody of any child. To make matters worse, her last baby is by a 25-year-old who is in jail more often than he is out. Not only that, my cousin lets him, his mom, and his brothers use her completely. She even gave his mom her oldest daughter’s laptop to pay her back [for posting his bond.] She lets him run over her. While I was living with her he hit her so I called the police and he told her to put me out and she did it! When someone in my family says something to her or gives her advice that she asks for, if it’s not what she want to hear she cuts them off. However, she is quick to call someone to borrow money. I told her if you don’t want my advice you don’t want my money. We have always been really close and I don’t know what to do anymore because it’s getting worse and worse. Please help me. What can I tell her to make her open her eyes to this boy and his family?
