Today’s topic: My wife needs to move on Dear Steve, I’m in a terrible situation. I have been married for seven years. I’ve had problems with my wife for all seven years. I think we have had more lows than highs. She has put up with my cheating for all seven years. She has not actually caught me in the act, but she knows. I can see changes in myself. My self esteem has gone through the roof. My wife and I have everything that we can ever ask for–a house, new vehicles, decent careers and a child. The only thing we don’t have together is happiness. We were both rebounds from previous bad relationships and ended up getting married. I have expressed to my wife that we should end the marriage because I am never going to change. I know she loves me and wants to be with me, but over time I have realized that I don’t have the same love for her that she has for me. Steve, I’m just not into her. I don’t know what to do at this point. I have told her to move on, but she really loves me and the feelings aren’t mutual. It will kill my daughter, who is the twinkle of my eye, but the love is just not there. Please give me some insight in to this situation.
