Rihanna defends the 'c' word, and doesn't want to be considered a role model!
Feisty and fiery, Rihanna Fenty does not want to be your child’s role model.
The singer spoke out in the latest issue of British Vogue about people considering her as such.
“See, people … they want me to be a role model just because of the life I lead. The things I say in my songs, they expect it of me, and [being a role model] became more of my job than I wanted it to be. But no, I just want to make music. That’s it.”
Known for hits like “Man Down,” “Cheers,” and her latest, “We Found Love” off of her upcoming album due this fall, the ever transcending pop star was also questioned for her use of the word “c***.” She claims that the expression is not nearly as offensive as it seems.
