Civil Rights activist and President Obama inauguration speaker Reverend Joseph Lowery was hospitalized on Sunday and released yesterday, according to the Associated Press. He became faint while greeting attendees at the one-hundred and third church anniversary at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta. He was the keynote speaker and preached for 40 minutes at the church where Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., was pastor for eight years.—CJ
