BET has reportedly decided to revive A Celebration of Gospel following the cancelation of the annual show.
According to reports by Always A List, after an early May announcement of the cancelation of the long-running special BET has had a change of heart.
A concrete date has not been set for the special, however BET employees have reportedly received new production schedules with A Celebration of Gospel slated to tape in September or October of 2015.
Taraji P. Henson was this year’s host for the annual special that has been on air for 14 years.
