A Syrian man has been arrested in connection with an alleged plot to assassinate President Barack Obama, say two U.S. officials familiar with the case, according to CNN. The suspect was apprehended late last week in Turkey, during the height of President Obama’s first overseas trip office. Officials noted that though our Commander-in-Chief receives more threats than usual as the first Black President of the United States, this specific incident did not force any change to his schedule. “Life goes on,” remarked one of the officials close to the case.—ZH
