Following on the heels of Pharrell Williams’ March release of his latest album G I R L, the artist continues to pay tribute to women with a new art exhibit in Paris with the same name.
The exhibit, which houses a collection of 48 pieces carefully curated by the producer himself, will debut at Galerie Perrotin in Paris and be on display until June 25th.
“I have always mixed artworks into my music, clothing, jewelry and my entire way of life,” Williams said. “They stimulate creativity, mutual curiosity and simply happiness!”
The collection includes an adaption by Takashi Murakami of Terry Richardson’s photograph of Williams and his wife, model Helen Lasichanh, works of art based on Nefertiti, Lucy van Pelt, Mona Lisa and Marilyn Monroe and photography by Ryan McGinley.
