According to the New York Post, the media mogul was enjoying her dinner on the outdoor patio when she was approached by a homeless man. He asked, “Oprah, can you help a homeless guy get a bowl of soup, please?” She did one better. Winfrey, being the generous woman that she is, said, “Please, can we get him some money, get him a meal.”
The man introduced himself as Eddie and Oprah responded, “God bless you, Eddie,” as one of her executives handed him a wad of cash. The staff of the restaurant then brought him a “feast.”
