“The world is a mess,” she wrote. “We all know it and talk about it in our private lives. It’s depressing and overwhelming at times to look at how much potential we have and yet we’re constantly bombarded by images and information that speaks to the lowest common denominator. We can do better. We can be better. I know it’s true.”
Though Oprah hasn’t discovered anything shockingly new, she makes a great point. How many times have we been suckered into worrying about useless information?

Think about it. She simply wants us to grow past our mistakes to become stronger, better people. Oprah admits her strongest desire is to “fulfill the highest, truest expression of myself as a Human being.”
