TV Chef Nikki Shaw welcomes family and friends home for a holiday buffet dinner party with her Coconut Rum Eggnog.
Shaw adds island flavor to the traditional dishes on her menu including the Jamaica-Me-Crazy Jerk Turkey, Paradise Rice Pilaf and Candied Yams and Pineapple.
Nikki’s husband, former NBA player and current Los Angeles Lakers Assistant Coach Brian Shaw, helps their son Brian (B.J.) Jr., decorate the Christmas tree while “Happy Feelin’s” by Maze featuring Frankie Beverly sets the mood. "I’m as serious about my music as I am about my cooking,” says Nikki. “I play old-school jams instead of typical holiday songs.”
Little Bianca enjoys serving as mommy’s little helper in the kitchen.
A beautifully set table is a feast for eyes. Nikki says: “To decorate the table, I go with gold tones, burgundy and reds that shout holiday.”
Nikki, her mother Paula Welsh, grandmother Barbara Eggleston and little Bianca, celebrate the blessing of four generations of their family to celebrate the holidays together.

Nikki’s Auntie Brenda lights candles to add a warm glow in the house. She also brought her popular Sweet Potato-Pecan Pie for the party.
