We haven’t seen Mo’Nique in a major role since she took home the Best Supporting Actress Oscar in 2009 for her role in “Precious.” The star has reportedly turned down several movie roles to fully focus on “The Mo’Nique Show.”
No word yet on when production for the film will begin.
