Nothing like a mother’s love to shake things up a little. Michael Jackson’s mother, Katherine Jackson, is suing concert promoters AEG Live, the company responsible for MJ’s comeback concerts, for not overseeing Dr. Conrad Murray, who happened to be on their payroll, and for failing to provide her son with proper medical care. Mrs. Jackson says her son should never have been promoting a world tour because he was so often weak he could hardly make it through rehearsals at the Staples Center. The lawsuit claims AEG Live put too much pressure on MJ to perform 50 shows in the UK as part of his “This Is It” tour. “AEG was merely doing whatever it took to make sure that Michael Jackson could make it to rehearsals and shows,” says the lawsuit.   “But AEG, despite knowledge of Michael Jackson’s physical condition, breached those duties by putting its desire for massive profits over [health and safety].” What would you do if you were in Mrs. Jackson’s shoes?
