Kanye West and Russell Simmons are the latest celebs to stop by the Occupy Wall Street protests in downtown Manhattan.
According to Rollingstone.com, West and Simmons were low key as they entered the crowd. It’s not clear what they were doing there — but their presence is a obviously a sign of support.
Just after the duo exited, Simmons tweeted, “I love how sweet and tolerant he was to the crowd.” He even suggested that West and several other artists band together to organize a “big rally.”
Just last week President Obama announced his support of the protests saying, “[The protestors] are giving voice to more broad-based frustrations about how financial systems works… and that’s going to express itself politically in 2012 and beyond.”
