Given that racist and classy are mutually exclusive, perhaps it is no surprise that a white woman from Springfield, Oregon ruined a Black family’s Easter Sunday after hurling racial slurs and even going as far as pulling down her pants and baring her behind to them.
The family went outside to see what was going on and immediately became targets of the verbal assault.
“She approached me in my face and started saying [racial slurs] multiple times,” Rashona Matthews told the news station.
Police later identified the aggressors as Kevin and Jessica Hollinger, who were apparently just walking around the neighborhood yelling slurs when they came upon the Matthews’ property.
“We were kinda like, ‘What the heck?’ trying to tell them to stop, and as soon as I pulled out my phone ’cause it was pretty funny and kinda crazy, she said she was going to call the cops on me,” Rahtavian Matthews added.
Police said that Jessica Hollinger actually walked on to the family’s property and chest-bumped one of them.
Authorities also revealed that Kevin Hollinger had a knife under his shirt during the encounter, but Rahtavian said that he never saw it being brandished.
In the video, the family demands that the racist duo leave the property, pointing out that there are kids around.
As Hollinger turned to leave, she pulled down her pants, baring her behind to the family.
“We laughed cause like, ‘Wow,’ like, ‘OK, something’s not right with you,” Rashonda said.
“So be it, you’re racist, that’s fine. Just take it away from us. We don’t want to hear it,” she added. “We don’t want to feel it. I don’t want my kids to ever experience it.”
The authorities have since charged Jessica Hollinger with harassment, disorderly conduct, and trespassing. Kevin Hollinger was charged with disorderly conduct and felon in possession of a restricted weapon for having the knife concealed on him.
