President Obama celebrated his 50th birthday a day early with a celeb-studded bash in Chicago last night.
Chi-Town native Jennifer Hudson was on hand to ring in the good times with him.
J-Hud led Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, jazz great Herbie Hancock, rock band OK GO! and other attendees in a soulful rendition of “Happy Birthday” for the president, reports the Associated Press.
Some 2,400 well-wishers attended the bash, which was also a fundraiser with tickets going for between $35 and $50, $800 per table.
Asked earlier in the day how he felt about his birthday, the president joked, “I feel real good about 5-0. I’ve got a little grayer since I took this job, but otherwise, I feel pretty good. And Michelle still thinks I’m cute.”
Love it! Happy Birthday, President Obama!
