The Oscar-winner shares how she's managed to maintain her 80 lb. weight loss over the years.
It’s been four years since Jennifer Hudson lost 80 lbs. on Weight Watchers and we’ve been dying to know her secret for keeping off the weight. So when we heard the singer shared her method with Yahoo Style, we couldn’t help but read — and share. Note: this one may require a bit of extra clean-up time.
“I throw the pancakes across the room! I don’t let the food intimidate me,” revealed Hudson in the interview. For those of you who may not have time for that particular method, the Oscar-winner also shared a modified version of her technique.
“If it’s too much, I just get rid of it, but I make sure to watch what I put in my body. And I make sure I know what it is. It’s all about portions, for the most part. I just take care of myself in that way, being more conscious. I don’t work out a lot, but I do like to be active. Simple as that.”
Watching what and how much you eat sounds simple enough but we all have a food weakness, or two and Hudson is no different. “I always have to have chocolate around — it’s my cigarette. I don’t smoke but it calms me so well,” said the star.
