Kanye West has been known to speak out of turn. Who can forget when he famously called out President George Bush for his slow reaction to Hurricane Katrina victims? Disregarding the teleprompter during an NBC telethon in 2005, Kanye blurted, “George Bush doesn’t care about Black people.” Apparently, Dubya hasn’t forgotten either. In an interview with NBC’s Matt Lauer, set to air November 8, Bush calls it “the most disgusting moment” of his presidency. “He called me a racist,” Bush told Lauer. “And I didn’t appreciate it then. I don’t appreciate it now. It’s one thing to say, ‘I don’t appreciate the way he’s handled his business.’ It’s another thing to say, ‘This man’s a racist.’ I resent it, it’s not true.” In a 2007 interview with “Nightline,” West was asked if he still thinks Bush doesn’t care about Black people. He replied, “I have a hard time believing that George Bush cares about anyone, so sidebar, Black people also.” Kanye always goes in. Do you agree with him? Watch Kanye’s outburst below:
