Former B2K member Raz-B is on life support at a hospital in China one day after a fight broke out during one of his performances. The 28-year-old was singing at a nightclub in China when he was smashed in the face with a glass bottle while breaking up the fight in the crowd.

“He is in a coma and needs as many prayers as possible,” Raz-B’s publicist, Toy Jones, tells TMZ.

The brawl occurred on August 15. Raz-B suffered a cut on his lip and was sent to the hospital for stitches. He was discharged the same day.  The next morning when Raz-B didn’t wake up, his backup dancers realized the star was unconscious and rushed him to the hospital where doctors confirmed he had brain activity but was comatose. He has been breathing through a ventilator and has been in and out of consciousness ever since.

As a teenager, Raz-B was a member and co-creator of the group B2K whose memorable hits included “Uh Huh” and “Bump, Bump Bump.” The band’s final album, Pandemonium!, featured two singles that made the Billboard Hot 100.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Raz-B and his family.
