With Bobbi Kristina's passing and Whitney's death barely hitting its third anniversary, is a hologram tour just too soon?
Just when we thought you’d never see Whitney Houston live again, her hologram is coming to a stage near you.
The hologram tour will debut in 2016 in venues around the country before touring around the world.
Pat Houston, Houston’s sister-in-law and president of the Whitney Houston Estate and Akil David, CEO of Hologram U.S.A. believe Houston fans will be thrilled about such a comeback.
“The show will not just be Whitney comes on, sings and gets off,” David said. “The narrative will document parts of her life, her achievements and celebrate Whitney.”
“The opportunity to share her spectacular gifts with the world again is exactly what I hoped for when I built the hologram business. I’m confident we’ll create the ultimate celebration of Whitney’s amazing artistry,” he continued.
Though this may be exciting, with Bobbi Kristina’s passing and Whitney’s death barely hitting its third anniversary, it’s hard not to wonder, can this hologram tour be debuting a bit too soon? Michael Jackson didn’t get a hologram until five years after his death at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards. What do you think? Sound off below.
