The phone rings. You answer it. The voice on the other end says hello and identifies himself as President Obama. What do you do?
Sound far-fetched? Maybe, but not impossible.
In honor of Mother’s Day, the commander-in-chief himself surprised three (incredibly lucky) mother’s with a phone call thanking them for everything that they do.
“I know how tough it is to raise kids and do right by them,” Obama said in a video released by the White House. “If it hadn’t been for my mother, I certainly wouldn’t be here.”
The shocked women managed to utter a few words, but they didn’t quite know what to say. After all, what do you say when you you get a casual phone call from the president? Do you thank him for all his hard work, or give him advice on what he could improve? Do you profess your undying love for Barry, or just sit in stunned silence?
If the president were to call you this very minute, what would you say to him? Leave us a comment sharing what you would do. After all, you never know—it might just happen!
