Dr. Conrad Murray shops a TV documentary about the MJ trial.
The courtroom drama in the Michael Jackson Doctor Trial showed signs of subsiding today.
In fact, it was the first day of deliberations after the judge delivered very specific instructions to the jury of seven men and five women. Over the past 23 days, jurors have heard from an astounding 49 witness, according to CNN.
If convicted, Dr. Conrad Murray faces up to four years in prison. A verdict could come any day now.
As for Murray’s personal gain from the ongoing saga, he’s been chronicling the entire process and is looking to shop his experiences to major TV networks.
That’s correct. He’s been shooting a TV documentary about Jackson’s final moments and the trial process, reports The Root. Not to mention, the network that decides to pick up the documentary will also land the first post-trial interview with the doctor.
However, California has expanded laws that prohibit criminals from profiting from their crimes, and a sale following a conviction could run afoul of those statutes.
