Days after it was reported that Whitney Houston was being considered to judge The X Factor, Janet Jackson’s name is now being added to the list, reports the Hollywood Reporter.

Jackson appeared on Anderson Cooper’s talk show recently and dodged questions regarding her participation. “Oh my God,” she laughed. “No, I’m not a judge on The X Factor.”

Cooper immediately chimed in, “You’re not currently a judge on The X Factor?”

“No I am not. But that’s all I really think I should say,” she added.

The show’s creator, Simon Cowell, is currently holding meetings to discuss replacements for Paula Abdul, Nicole Scherzinger, and Steve Jones.

In December, the show crowned its first winner, Melanie Amaro. The young starlet dazzled the crowd with several Mariah Carey numbers and took home the top prize of $5M and a recoding contract with Epic Records.
