See what we’re chatting about over coffee:

• Toni Braxton and Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds are Broadway bound. Together, they will headline a two-week stint in the upcoming production of After Midnight, a musical tribute to Harlem’s Cotton Club. Although previews begin October 18th and the show officially opens on November 13th, with Fantasia headlining, Braxton and Edmonds aren’t expected to take over the show until March 18th. Their upcoming duets album, Love, Marriage & Divorce is expected to be released on December 3rd. [Hollywood Reporter]

• Afeni Shakur filed a lawsuit against Entertainment One recently claiming the company owes Tupac’s estate $1.1 million in unpaid royalties. The royalties come from the rapper’s latest album Beginnings: The Lost Tapes (2007). Ms. Shakur is also seeking all of the other unreleased songs as well. [TMZ]

• Robin Thicke is next to sit in the hot seat. He’s scheduled to appear on an upcoming episode of Oprah’s Next Chapter. He will discuss his marriage to actress Paula Patton, their son and his latest controversial performances. Thicke’s episode is scheduled to air on October 13th. [Billboard]

Lee Daniel’s The Butler is set to make waves in Asia. The film, which has earned $100 million in the United States, is set to open the Mumbai Film Festival on October 17th. It’s just one of over 200 movies slated to play at the massive festival. As always, a number of cash prizes will be handed out. It’s unclear if any other American films will be shown.
