The rapper took to Twitter to voice her opinion about the matter.
See why we’re having ice coffee and buttermilk biscuits:
• Nicki Minaj isn’t a happy camper this morning and former American Idol judge Steven Tyler is on the receiving end of her fiery tweets. Tyler made some not so nice comments about the rapper implying she’s a racist. He told MTV News that had Bob Dylan auditioned for Idol, Minaj would “have had him sent out to the cornfield.” The Pink Barbie herself responded to the claims saying, “Steven Tyler said I would have sent Bob Dylan to a cornfield? Steve, you haven’t seen me judge one single solitary contestant yet. I understand you really wanted to keep your job but take that up with the producers. I haven’t done anything to you. That’s a racist comment. You assume that I wouldn’t have liked Bob Dylan? Why? Black? Rapper? What? Go f*ck yourself and worry about yourself babe.” [Hollywood Reporter]
• America’s Next Top Model hunky judge Rob Evans turned himself into police recently. The British model surrendered after learning a warrant for his arrest was issued over a fight that happened in March. He was charged with felony assault and released after posting $60,000 bail. [Grio]
• Plans for Amy Winehouse play were strapped because the late singer’s father, Mitch Winehouse, objected. It was set to debut at Denmark’s The Royal Theater on January 30. Mitch Winehouse is reportedly blocking the use of his daughter’s music and any photographs of her. [NY Times]
• Katt Williams may be in more legal trouble. Fans are suing the comedian after a disappointing performance at a Almaeda County, California show recently. Williams apparently appeared on stage for just 10 minutes and left. Brian Herline is filing a suit on behalf of everyone attending that night. [Grio]
