She revealed that the controversial singer twerked for her at Pharrell’s birthday party, but she, herself, couldn’t get the hang of it. “I tried to do it,” said Hudson. “And nothing but my knee was moving. • Anthony Mackie says the hey day for Black movies has passed. In an interview with The Grio, the Mister and Pete star says, “That’s why you look at The Best Man Holiday that’s coming out… it’s the same people that was in The Best Man years ago,” he explained. “They don’t really make those movies anymore… I think we are in a period of people not getting the opportunities to do the movies that they want to do, so they’re starting to be creative.” [Rolling Stone]
• Usher says boxing is like dancing. The singer covers the latest issue of Men’s Health and dishes on his upcoming role in the Sugar Ray Leonard biopic. “What he did as a boxer is no different foam what I do as a dancer,” he said. “My commitment to this character demands that I not only physically get ready, but also become him.
