• John Legend may be finishing up his fourth studio album, but he’s also keeping busy in the movie world. Legend sold his drama Down Lo to HBO for development, reports Deadline. The film will take a closer look at Miami’s music, sports and fashion scenes with personal stories from athletes, models as well as a closeted gay rapper. • A taping of NBC’s The Voice got a little out of hand last week. A crazed Usher fan proceeded to shout, yell and even blow a whistle to get his attention. After being asked to stop, the young fan continued to cause a stir. Eventually, she was asked to leave and was escorted out of the studio. • Will and Jaden’s Smith’s new sci-fi thriller, After Earth, has a new premiere date. The M. Night Shyamalan directed film will now debut in theaters on May 31 instead of June 7. The film was allegedly pushed up to avoid competition with Man of Steel, which is set to premiere on June 14. After Earth will now go head-to-head with thrillers The Purge and Now You See Me.
