Happy Monday! Here are some hot topics to add to your hot cocoa this morning:

John Legend and his wife Chrissy Teigen are showing their support to protesters in NYC. The couple reportedly paid a fleet food trucks to hand out over 500 meals to the homeless and to hungry demonstrators on Sunday. [Entertainment Tonight]

NBA player Derrick Rose wore a black t-shirt with the words “I Can’t Breathe” printed on it during his pre-game warm up on Saturday. NFL running back Reggie Bush had “I Can’t Breathe” written across his warm up suit as well. “I just felt terrible about what’s been going on these past couple of weeks,” Bush said. [The Grio]

It’s three more steps backwards for Bill Cosby. Last Thursday, the Navy announced that it was stripping Bill Cosby of his honorary title, which was presented to him in 2011. Navy Secretary Ray Mabus and and Master Chief Petty Officer Michael Stevens said that the recent allegations made against Bill Cosby do not align with the Navy’s core values. [CBS News]

Oprah Winfrey is incredibly passionate about Selma, the upcoming Martin Luther King Jr biopic she helped produce. At a gala for the film on Saturday, she spoke about the divine timing of the civil rights movie and how proud she was to be involved. “Tonight, I saw it in a way I hadn’t seen before,” said an emotional Winfrey. “I’m proud of what we’re able to do with the film.” [Entertainment Tonight]

Black-ish Tracee Ellis Ross finds it liberating to be able to rock her natural hair on TV and not be confined to a certain standard of beauty. “I’m very conscious of how I wear my hair on the show and yet it’s the way I wear my hair as Tracee,” she said to Entertainment Weekly. “You hire me, you hair my hair and you hire my ass. It’s all coming with me.” [Entertainment Weekly]

Nicki Minaj channeled her inner Beyoncé in a holiday-themed Saturday Night Live spoof. Take a look at her portrayal of Queen Bey below:
