  • Broadway is about to change in a big way. According to Playbill, a Tupac musical called Holler If Ya Hear Me, will be making its Broadway debut very soon. Director Kenny Leon will begin casting for the production later this month. “I’m going to try to bring it to Broadway in the next Broadway season,” he says. “The idea was always to make a musical inspired by his music and not to do an autobiographical approach to his life or anything like that.” [Huffington Post]

  • Adele’s 21 has become the longest running number one album since Prince’s Purple Rain. The album will spend it’s 22nd week at number one on the Billboard 200 chart. In total, the album has sold more than 7.7M in the United States. [Hollywood Reporter]

  • Phylicia Rashad is returning to TV. The actress joins NBC’s drama, Do No Harm — an updated version on Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde. Rashad is said to play Dr. Vanessa, the chief of surgery and Jeffrey’s boss. [Hollywood Reporter]

  • Former Arizona Cardinal tight end Ben Patrick pulled people from a burning car over the weekend. The athlete saw the accident and immediately jumped in to help. “My first thought was just to help the people on the inside,” said Patrick. [EURweb]

  • Reality TV star Omarosa Manigault is an ordained minister. She reportedly spent a year preparing at Weller Street Missionary Baptist Church in Los Angeles. He new title is Rev. Manigault. [The Root]
