• Sherri Shepherd says she dropped 46 pounds by doing Zumba three times a week. The View co-host revealed that she got the idea by watching an infomercial. But what actually got her off the couch was her then upcoming wedding. “You know I wanted to look good for my wedding,” said Shepherd. “I have a closet full of clothes of all different sizes. And I have some that I call my ‘Oprah clothes.’ Remember when she came out onstage dragging a wagon-full of fat? I have a fantasy of doing the same thing.” In all, Shepherd went from 197 pounds to 151 pounds. [People]
• Over the weekend, ESSENCE.com reported that Raz B fell into a coma after undergoing minor surgery to repair his lip from a violent club incident in China. According to TMZ, Raz B is now out of his coma and is in stable condition. The former B2K singer is reportedly smiling and breathing on his own. [TMZ]
• According to the Associated Press, Kanye West will not be charged with a felony for reportedly attacking a paparazzi at Los Angeles International Airport several weeks ago. Instead, the district attorney’s office of Los Angeles will refer the case to the city attorney, who could file misdemeanor charges against the rapper. Video of the incident shows the new father in a scuffle with the photographer—however, it’s not clear if either party suffered injury. [AP]
